Basketball and more basketball

We spent yesterday being immersed in basketball and it was fun! While Pat spent the morning and early afternoon at a state PTA board meeting, Jon had his first basketball game of the season. While we are still working on the concept of being on a team and sharing the ball he did great! He grabbed numerous rebounds and sunk three baskets! His dribbling has improved immensely and he is of course having a ton of fun. After the game we went home for some quiet time because of the late night before. When Pat arrived home we were off to the Creighton University mens basketball game vs Witchita State University with a group of friends. It was a lot of fun because some of the friends cheered for Witchita and I was cheering for Creighton, it is always more fun when you can trash talk in a fun natured way! Of course it is more fun when your team wins by one point! Way to go Creighton! Today is a doctor appt for me for a sinus infection, church, symphony for the whole family with the scouts, and then home to watch the recorded Viking/Cowboys game. We are in for a lot of fun today!
