Decisions For Next Year

I almost have Pat talked into NOT doing the PTA board next year and I am so looking forward to it. It is a lot of work trying to organize all the people and all the activities. Of course you have the parents that think they can do a better job so I am okay with letting them try. It is amazing the control issues people have! I have talked about feeling like I am back in high school again with all those crazy girls! I had a great time in high school but I am so happy that I am adult and can act like it without over reacting with my emotions. I have learned to deal with things in an adult manner, oh and lots of laughter, laughing at yourself is a lot more fun then complaining all the time. So, we are working on a list of things that need to be done next year for the incoming board members and I am hoping they don't reconsider when they see it is going to be about 20 pages! All I can say is good luck and even though they are too prideful to ask for help, I hope they realize that they can not do this alone.
