is always a lot of fun no matter where you live and definitely keeps you on your toes! The Midwest is no different. We are in the thunderstorm season and I usually love this time of year. The smell of a fresh rain, the rolling of thunder, and all the beautiful sights of lightning. I can handle it all while my husband is away because I know what to do in case of severe storms. The thing I miss the most though is having someone help me run out and collect all the stuff in the yard that might blow away, or Pat being able to run out in a storm and move the truck into the garage, or the person that will help me rearrange the stuff in said garage to fit said truck in! Tonight I got to run out and move all the rental stuff from Pat's party to the other end of the garage so that I could fit the truck in. 46 chairs, coolers, and tables take a little time to move by yourself.
On a side note: We had a blast during our trip and lots of fun with friends and family during Pat's promotion party!
