was very busy and good, just like every other day. Our family lives a life of separations sometimes and very much togetherness when able. This is a time of separation and we deal with it, but that means SPECIAL days are not really special they are just the same as the day before. I love my life and my family, we enjoy the time that we have together and that makes everyday Mother's Day here. My kids are no different on Mother's Day then any other day and I love that about them. They are the good, the bad, and the crazy everyday and it is my job to relish every minute of it, not just one day a year! So on these days when my husband can not be here to pamper me, I realize that Mother's Day is more then my family appreciating me, it is also about me appreciate all they allow me to be a part of.
On a side note, Pat sent me flowers and the kids made me all kinds of wonderful homemade things. Also, since we were at the TKD tournament all day Saturday that meant we had to clean up the yard on Sunday. So the boys helped mow, weed eat, clean the flower beds, clean up the outside furniture, and clean up the back patio. Sami got to clean the kitchen.
