Well, here is the photos from the not so formal pin on. Pat rescheduled his pin on for 2:00pm on Friday, but canceled it because we hadn't heard anything about the Senate approving the list. Then at 5:00pm on Friday we found out the Senate approved it and Pat was finally a LT Col! YEAH! So we had all the food and a little ceremony at home for the kids, well the two that were here, to put his rank on him. They of course were not the Col that was supposed to but they were just as important!
Then on Saturday we packed up the van and sent Pat out for a TDY! So now I am single Momin' it here. It has been been almost three years since he left last time and the kids took it pretty hard, it didn't help that they only had three days notice either. We are planning a family trip out to visit him and see some amazing tourist attractions when school gets out. I now have date nights all to myself and boy am I going to enjoy those moments.
