Lots of things happening...

This week we had conferences, book fair, feed the teachers night, tkd, and a project for Sami.

Conferences...awesome! Kids did great, no behavior problems, grade improvements, and even some things that we can work on to get better. Love it! It is nice to hear that the teachers don't have anything negative to say about your kids.

Book fair...stressful and tiring, but the kids love it!

Feed the teachers...piece of cake with all the help from parents willing to help out and give the teachers a nice meal while they are at the school forever for conferences. It is great when you have a lot of parents who take the time to help out their children's teachers.

TKD...always fun. Sami, Patrick, and Pat took a referee course this weekend and we had friends come into to town for it. So we got to out to dinner and hang out with them, totally a blast, but makes us miss them even more when they leave.

Project...from the University of Northern Iowa for Sami to complete and send it back. She is part of a trial project. She loves math so we signed up to do a study for them.

That has been our week in a nutshell, except for a trip to the doc this morning to find out I have tendonitis in my right hand. I am now in a splint and have to wear it for a few days. YEAH! Did I mention that I am right handed and I now can not use that hand?

I used to love those Really Good teacher conferences...but for us they stopped in the 6th grade when it became "WTF is with your kid??? Can we chain him to a chair? With duct tape over his mouth?"

Fun times LOL
