Happy 12th Birthday Sami

How on earth did the time go by so fast that Sami can all ready be twelve? She has started going out with friends without me and even calling boys to join her and her friends. She has gone to her first boys birthday party! Of course Pat and I went also to hangout with the parents! She is becoming a teenager when I blink and I don't think I am ready for it! She is learning to grow up with dignity and grace but I am scared for her, all the things to come that will crush her and she will learn to bounce back from! She is quickly entering that age that brings many ups and downs, that she will have choices to make that she is not ready for but we are preparing her for! Thank goodness for friends because they are helping me along the way! Sami, you are my little girl and always will be but I wish you many happy birthday wishes! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy life with you instead of always having to be on the outside of what is going on with you!
