Good Weekend!

We had a nice weekend, busy, but lots of fun! Pat went out with a friend to the club and then ended up drinking with a bunch of people from the base at one of their houses. I drove him there and picked them up, so they could drink and not worry about driving home, and it felt like I was dropping one of my kids off somewhere and telling them to call when they were ready to come home. Have I mentioned how nice it is to have a babysitter living in the house so I can make a run to pick up their drunk Dad? :)

Saturday we had TKD class for few hours, shopping for Sami to spend her birthday $, and then we had the black stripes and above from TKD over for an educational video. The instructors found a video that they like and wanted the group to see it so we were volun-told the availability of our house. We had a great time talking and then watching a video with the group.

Today, this is relaxing and hanging out time. We are watching the Nascar race and getting a few things done, like the school yearbook, laundry, haircuts, and picking up from the party. While watching the race we are enjoying the new surround sound that we have and understanding just how bad the previous one was! I really do like a good sound system!

We are looking forward to the next week, dinner out for Sami's birthday, friends from out of town here, dinner out with said friends and TKD family, going to see Race to Witch Mountain for Sami's birthday, Sami's band concert, Referee course for TKD, Sami's stepper's show, and all the normal things we have going on!
