Good Times....

So I was sick with fever, aches, ear infection, cough and the other general stuff with a cold. Then the ear infection blows my ear drum, again, no big deal I can just get some antibiotics and be fine. Wrong! I have taken all of my antibiotics and I feel only a little relief but I now am dizzy when I stand up, can't do much around the house because it all involves standing up, can't make dinner very well (short spurts of standing and we eat eventually), I can drive places because the dizziness only effects me standing up but when I get to where I am going I have problems because again I have to stand to walk, can't move my head very fast so keeping track of all three kids while out is not as easy as it used to be, and I am also very tired these days and don't feel rested ever. To top it off Pat is supposed to pin on LT Col tomorrow but I can't stand up. We have his parents and cousins coming into town tonight and I can't clean my house or cook for them. I have to go and pick up all the trays of food and cake tomorrow and I can't stand up. Plus, we have planned all of this but the pin on might have to be postponed anyway. The way this stuff works is...the Air Force selects the group to be promoted and then they send the list off to be approved by the President and the Senate. You will not move up in rank until those people sign off on it. So it is sitting waiting to be signed by the Senate right now and until it is signed we will have to wait to do Pat's promotion, which means we will have to try and fit it into the Col's schedule that will perform the pin on. Plus, I have to still go get a dress just in case, Patrick needs shoes, and I have to do all of this with a smile on my face. Wish me luck, I may need it!
